Should Majiwa follow suit?

28 Oct

It is now clear that Moses Wetangula and his former Permanent Secretary Thuita Mwangi are no longer at the helm of the Foreign Affairs Ministry. They did the noble thing of stepping aside to facilitate investigations.

However, the Mayor of Nairobi, one Mr. Majiwa has relented to step aside pending investigation to fraud charges that involve the purchase of land that was purposed for a cemetery.

The lights are all green at this juncture. Should he heed to the mounting pressure and step aside or resign? Or should he stay put?

The noble thing to do is to step aside.Anybody who has been implicated in corruption should step aside. This should apply across the sacred cows.

Majiwa should step aside for more investigation to be done ,staying put is asign of arrogancy which the present kenyans are against through our new constitution.
