The Love of Football Turns Sour!

25 Oct

Is it ‘Love Ball’ or ‘Death Ball’; football seems to be an open can of worms in Kenya, recalling the incidence that transpired this weekend at the Nyayo National Stadium. Call it sheer stereotyping; but that is what you get when events are not organized to well. What lesson can we learn, what loose shoe-strings can we fasten? Perhaps this stampede that took someone’s husband, father, son, nephew or fiancé need not happen again.
Our blog is dedicating today, October 25, 2010 to mourn our departed brothers and sisters who lost their lives on Saturday at the Stadium as they waited in line to support their favorite football team, just because someone somewhere could not read between the lines of patience, good judgment and good event organization. What are your sentiments?

Itz realy bad when a moment of joy turns to sadness.many condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the tragedy. But the big question still remains what the concerned party did and are to do despite prior warnings by FIFA.
