USE INTERACTIVE MEDIA TO REPORT CORRUPTION.

17 Aug

KENYANS SHOULD PRESSURE FOR REFORMS.
interactive mediaHaving embraced the spirit of technology in Kenya many people us included are obviously taking advantage of the internet by encouraging our fellow Kenyans to report any corruption cases through Blogs, Face book, Twitter etc to report real time allegations on corruption.
We all should know that even if no public figure yet exist to act on the corruption charges, the generation of public discussion alone would provide pressure for reform. Kenyans should strategise to come up with concrete actions.
Making corruption issues and cases public and making them part of the public dialogue and making people talk in social circles about people could very well create public pressure to do something. These are just ideas, and you have to figure out what will work for us as Kenyans. The government needs reform not just because of the violence following the December, 2007 election, but because of a long pattern of decisions made by Kenya leaders that are poor for the country.
