DO NOT TAKE KENYANS FOR GRANTED PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING OUT THERE…….
KIDSSS
DIPZZZIn Kenya we are always urged to report any corruption cases with security assured. Yes we report many cases with pleasure but the most disappointing thing is that most of these cases at some point are always dumped and forgotten while others are never investigated .This has become like a habit and Kenyans are actually tired of empty promises. The promised security for the whistle blowers is less guaranteed as we have heard or even witnessed many of them having been murdered. Below are some is a familiar statement that at one point gave us hope of fighting corruption but it was just like a scape goat for the government to cheat Kenyans it is dedicated in fighting corruption. It is such a big shame to the Government it should not take Kenyans for granted.
“The war against corruption in Kenya is to assume new dimensions following the introduction of an online corruption reporting system code named Business Keeper Monitoring System (BKMS) to enable whistle blowers report corruption cases anonymously. So far, there are about 500 reported cases of corruption through the BKMS system and the number is expected to rise once the system is fully marketed. The system is only instrumental for cases that constitute corruption; these include bribery, conflict of interest, fraud, abuse of office, misappropriation of public funds and fraudulent acquisition and disposal of public property. Others include land grabbing, irregularities in public procurement, breach of trust and tax evasion among others.”
